Barbecue brisket by the pound prices by the pound have gone up at Hinze's BBQ in Wharton and Vincek's Smokehouse in East Bernard recently. $24.50 at Hinzes and $22 at Vincek's. Didn't get the price at Mikeska's in El Campo. Slice beef brisket sandwiches are over $10 at some places.
I'm sure prices are high at other name places in the state as well
