Thomas Sitton selected to head football coach-AD at Rusk ISD

Thomas Sitton is coming back to East Texas.

Rusk ISD announced Sitton will be its new head football coach and athletic director.

Sitton was the head football coach at Chapel Hill from 2009-16, leading the Bulldogs to a record of 56-41 and a state title in 2011.

Sitton, a 1990 graduate of Cushing High School and a 1995 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, was most recently the defensive coordinator at Converse Judson High School, where he spent the past three seasons.

Sitton has also coached at Lake Worth, Alto, Jacksonville and New Braunfels.
