IMG also has state of the art training facilities, training programs, special nutrition programs, etc. They also play against elite competition.
Kids go there if they want to treat football as a business.
It's like a college football environment on the high school level.
I feel bad for the kid...moving to a town with no Dairy Treat, or DQ
AAU has made its way to football. Get over it. Basketball coaches has been dealing with this for years. Coach the kids you got, cheer the kids you got. Its not the end of the world.
Yea you are right. Coach and win with the kids you got. But those academys / private schools better leave our kid Keaontay Ingram alone. He has burst onto the scene. 1 of the sites (Scout) has him a 4 star and the #1 ranked RB in Texas and #14 in the country. 247 has him 3 star, but will be 4 star recruit very soon on that site. They have him the #17 RB in the country.
And to leave no confusion I think it is straight running BS what the acadamies are doing.
Just saw that Josh is headed back to yoakum.
Can anyone verify this?
Glad to see that he's back...
Even though he should have never left.
