Manor New Tech was outscored 812 to 66 in district (3A) games the last two seasons. Now, they are predicted to finished 3rd their 4A district. The prediction makes sense as New Tech has steamrolled Eastside the past two seasons, Achieve is coming up from 6-man and YMLA is new.
I honestly feel bad for teams like Wimberley and Navarro in this situation. Not the fault of the other teams. You must challenge yourself in non-district.
October 23rd the rivalry continues

Good match ups before district and then some warm ups before the main event.
Schedule has changed. Ignore attached file. lol

Tejas, are you going to the scrimmage today? If you are, would you mind sharing your assessment?
Not gonna make it LV. :crying:
Jeez, when is the last time we didn't play Giddings? I notice that Navarro plays Giddings...
Heard Mathew Tippie can spin a football.
Lol..that sounds about right.
Canyon Lake @ Wimberley will be carried live by KBVO Austin on Friday. As least that is what their Spectrum schedule shows. lol
I just spent an hour trying to figure out how to get
kbvo, but just noticed CL is streaming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heWb4GR1m64
Lol. Yeah, saw that late today. Vype.com is streaming it as well for a fee.
Dish channel 51 for me. I'll record it and watch Saturday. Can you replay any streamed games to watch later ?
Watched some of Fred-Monahans last night on youtube. Fred beat the ever-loving snot out of them. Just ran the ball all over them.
24-22 Wimbo.
I've learned not to be worried by games like this because we have a history of getting better, but...
Pass blocking was terrible, which contributed to the QB having no confidence, which contributed to the play-calling having no confidence in the QB. Wray got hurt and didn't play the 2nd half, Limely didn't play at all, and the secondary looked shaky.
But 1-0 and we'll get better.
Best of all, I don't have to listen to the CL announcing team the rest of the season.
13 penalties. 3 sophomores on the OL. It was posted we had 5 starters out. That first drive fumble kinda set the tone for the whole game it seems. KBVO did a nice job I thought. I was at the game but watched it again on DVR. Just not the same atmosphere with this covid crap, not to mention it was stupid hot and very humid.
Watch about a minute of this: https://youtu.be/heWb4GR1m64?t=13901
Wow. That was brutal. lol
Those two were lost. No football savvy. Didn't know the score. Don't think Wimberley had to KO if clock ran out. Putting 2 sec. on the clock means refs say Tippie was down with time left. They said don't touch the ball on KO and no time runs off. It's a free ball unless downed inside 20 (?). Maybe best laugh was CL put it to them !

Wimbo 140 yds in penalties vs 143 yds. rushing. Overall, I think Wimbo looked good as did Matt. despite no 7on7 this year. Moses gets better every year, played awesome.
Cuero streaming it on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgt...2SiyW6HQisNT-Q

Wimbo, remember this guy?
