Columbia Roughnecks
What’s the word? All I know is what DCTF tells me. 19 returning starters from a 6-4 team that missed the playoffs and a 9-1 JV last year.
18 point favorite against Victoria East to open the season.
I’m living up in tomball now but I’m going to try to make it down for the sweeny game
Tell me what I need to know

DCTF has QB cam ward as one of the top 20 QBs in the state with only the QB from Melissa being ranked higher among 4A QBs.... interesting...
-
They got some of the loudest fans ever on the football Friday app lmao

How did the Necks do against Boling and Brookshire Royal
-
Also, XFL Houston team is called the roughnecks.... idk how I feel about this

Necks did well in the tri scrimmage with Boling and Brookshire. No live action, just controlled....
Necks 1st team offense scored two TDs against both Boling and Brookshire. Mainly running the ball, Necks moved down the field in big chunks. Had success when they did throw the ball as well.
Defense was stingy, didn't allow any points to either team. Boling and Brookshire are who they are, but Necks did what was expected. Tough task against Angleton tonight, I won't be there, hoping to get some updates from one of my coworkers. I'll pass along anything I get.

Necks looked pretty good against Angleton on Thursday night. Got a report from a friend who was there.
Controlled scrimmage with the 1’s...
Columbia 1, Angleton 0.
Necks with an impressive opening drive, went 70 yards in 10-11 plays with zero penalties and the TD.
Controlled with the 2’s...
Columbia 0, Angleton 1.
24 minutes running clock...
0-0 tie.
During the running half, Angleton had around 70 yards of offense (with 2 turnovers) while Columbia had around 40 yards of offense.

Sounds promising... Angleton should be a top 15 5a team this year.
Thanks for the updates 93
