LaVenka leads off the bottom of the fifth with a single for PG. Argyle will make the pitching change now and bring in Sean Bolin to relieve Bryson Hudgens.

Marshall Cox pinch hitting now for PG. Bolin on the mound and got the last win against Melissa, 8-0 on the season. Ground ball off the mound as Dixon steps on the bag and throws to first for the double play. He fielded a high hop off the mound and stepped on 2nd base then threw to first to double him up. Good play by the shortstop.

Legrand up now......ground ball to Merka at 3rd base as he gets him at 1st for the out. 3-up, 3-down for Argyle to end the inning.

Now Sean Bolin gets to bat.....his first plate appearance for the season. Bolin gone for the first out. Clearman up now.

Clearman bats from the left side.....having trouble with Gilley the submariner. Liner to right center in the gap. Clearman stands up at 2nd base for a double.

Austin King up with one out and a runner on 2nd for Argyle. Grounder to LaVenka at 2nd base to get him out at first as Clearman moves to 3rd.

Gonzales up now with two outs and a runner on 3rd. He pokes it thru the hole between 1st and 2nd for an RBI base hit.

Gonzales steals 2nd on that pitch. Russo could not throw him out. The throw was good, but it was a close play.

Merka up at the plate and is hit in the hip by Gilley the submariner. He goes to first on the hit by pitch. Here comes Dixon to the plate to face this righty submariner. Dixon bats from the right side too.

Hit hard right back to the pitcher.....it hits Gilley hard......he throws it to first but is late as he stumbles. He immediately went down after the throw....he's hurt. That was a very hard hit line drive right back at Gilley.

Gilley is up and throwing a few pitches to see if he is OK. Bases are loaded by Argyle with two outs. I think it hit him on the knee or thigh.

Preston King up and has 2 strikes on him right away. Now King hits liner right up the middle and scores two runs as the throw from center goes over Russo's head at the plate to score the 2nd runner.

Chad Ricker up now......two outs and two men on base.

Full count on Ricker now......ground ball to 2nd base but Ricker beats it out as Dixon scores another run for Argyle. Looks like LaVenka held on to it too long.
