I disagree.
Charlie Strong said in his press conference on Monday that this is the week they turn it around and how excited the kids are to play.
Since honesty is a core value, I now expect Texas to win as Coach Strong would never sway from one of his own core values.
When it rains, it pours...:(

Bevo XIV will not be attending this weekend's OU game due to a life-threatening condition. He has been Texas' mascot since 2004.
Wonder what the oddsmakers have the line at now?
I just found it....17.5 point underdogs.
on Texas 24/7 website they released an email notice that Bevo won't be making the trip as he is ill
Beef is what the Sooners have for Dinner.
Texas is 5-2 since 1989 when Okahoma is ranked and Texas isn't. Still, Heard will have to have a stellar day for the Longhorns to win. Texas needs to get some turnovers and capitalize on them. Okie should win if they can clean up on the penalties.
Texas' opponents records in the first 5 games this season is a combined total of 19-1. Rice loss to Texas was the only loss for the Longhorns opponents.
Nice start for the Texas D....
Lets see what the O can do.
Heard is down....injured.
Heard back in....
TD Horns!
Nice run by Johnson....
Sooners fumble the kickoff, Texas recovers at the 42.
So far, Texas is doing what they need to do in order to win this game. If they can capitalize on this turnover and score a TD, that will be BIG!
Network's Keys to Victory for Texas are completely different than mine.
Swoooopes!
TD Texas!
Uh oh, ball looks out....
TD stands!
14-0....
Horns D playing well so far, big sack right there.
Texas will need to score in the 2nd qtr. to keep this game close, imo.
End 1st
Horns lead 14-0.
Bad set of play calls for Texas staff on that series, imo. Texas will have to punt when they had momentum. Two runs by Heard and then a run on 3rd and 8.
Same ol' story.....Texas recievers cannot get open, so Heard is forced to run it with very little time.
Need to open up that playbook...throw the ball downfield.
I think Texas needs to keep the ball on the ground for the majority of the day to shorten this game. They have the lead now.
I don't believe they can play wide open.....they don't have the playmakers.....but they do have a good stable of RB's Also, the line cannot give Heard enough time to find recievers deep.....only short quick passes. Run it, then burn them downfield when you draw the secondary up.
If it keeps the chains moving and the end result is a score, then yes run all day.
Malik!!
ou to punt again....
Good D so far by the Horns.
Another conservative series....
Looks like Texas will need to hit some quick-hitter short passes to get that running game going. Sure don't have enough time to go deep.
Mayfield is a good passing qb.....he was at Tech til the Davis kid from Prosper took his starting role last season. But he is capable.
4th sack for the Texas D....
Wiped out by defensive holding.
Here comes ou, inside the Texas 20.
Big down here for the Horn D. 3rd and goal and they hold
