Panthers by 2 TDs
You will be disappointed.
Well hopefully this thread gets good. Not sure anyone will even comment much on ours. Wimbo for the winbo
Toss up these two know what the other team is about.
But there will be a winner at the end of this so favoring the Texans. Whoever does win hoping they'll take down Region III opponent once again.
Someone should summarize these teams regional finals playoff history for the board...
I can help with Navarro

Navarro has a streak of 9 seasons at 10 wins or plus
Six Seasons of 3 rounds deep or plus
4 out of last 5 seasons in Regional Finals
2010 was the year Navarro moved from 2A to 3A
Navarro leads the series 9-8 at this time. Navarro won in 88 and 89 and in 90 and 91 Wimb won. Series was 2-2
Started in 2010 Wimb won next 4 up until 2012 since 2013 Navarro has won 7 games and Wimb 2 games
Somebody may have better records but this is what I have. Great Series!!!
Good info, Chips, thanks for sharing! This is a really good series. Don't see why Friday should be any different!
Pigskin Prep has Wimberley favored by 4.
I know..so don't watch the game. :1popcorn:
You guys will need Morse code to signal for help because you will be speechless, but it will be tooo late.
QB sneak late in the 3rd which would have made the score 31-9 in the District game. Honestly tell me how he was not in the endzone. Look at his white towel. This is what kept wimberley in the game. No 99 yarder happens

We need instant replay for all Navarro v Wimberley games. Lol
QB fumbled and the ball was down between his knees. You can see #5 on Navarro digging for it, fighting our guys.
You can see the ball coming out as soon as he surges forward:

Once more -- here he is with the ball in his hands, right before he surged:

Here's basically the next frame with the ball clearly coming out:

It's nice that his towel got into the end zone, but the ball didn't, because it was loose. Perhaps he should have tucked the ball into the back of his pants?
Here's the ball dropping out:

And you can't see where it goes, but based on #5's actions, I think the ball ended up between the QB's knees, outside the end zone. I think this is the back point of the ball, but it's very hard to see:

If his right heel were down, you might be right, but that would require him to not have an achilles tendon in that leg. Maybe you could hire Rudy Guiliani to argue that Tippie has no achilles tendon so he was out of bonds?

I like it. Thanks rb585.
You can have it.
Congrats Wimberley! Good Luck. Best Wishes! Just hate to see us hand you a game in which we almost had 600 yards offense! (591) Torched Code Red but we hurt our cause with 5 TOs and 10 Penalties!
Thanks bags. Just my opinion, but in spite of the yardage, that was not the dominating o-line as in the past for Navarro. Had a couple of plays that worked to perfection more times than I care to mention. Can't ever recall seeing a Navarro team as undisciplined as they were last night. Not dissing at all, just uncharacteristic for a Panther team. I will not deny that I was happy the majority of penalties went to the other team for a change. We still had 6 for 60yds. The Texan defense showed up when it was absolutely necessary but not a stellar showing that is for sure. One could credit some of those turnovers to great defensive plays but maybe I am being biased.
You know we are rivals when we play but support each other all the time! Look at the last couple of pics on my Daughters Smug mug! I think she does a Fantastic Job. 28 games in the last 2 years and will always support her boys!

Best Wishes this week. I just feel it was Navarro stopping themselves. Code Red does not give up almost 600 yards!!! Not the Code Red I know anyways!!
PEANUT< PEANUT< PEANUT! Going back to 2010 it has burned you guys many times!!!
