ALERT!!

Are we having a tailgate party or not?? Anyone get confirmation that the Alamodome will not allow this great tradition!! :eek: I don't think I could eat CHILI before this big of a game -- I'd miss the game. :( :D I'd be happy to meet w/ everyone though. I've already meet Old Green & Gobbla and most of the Sinton posters, but I'd love to meet 44INAROW! :)

I've been hearing rumblings of a possible community wide pep rally on Thursday. Anyone else "hear" anything?? This week is dragging...hurry, Friday!!! :D

Well, if they don't allow tailgating maybe we can meet up at one of the Bill Millers BBQ concessions in the dome. I hope they they still have one.:(

Finally have confirmation!!

I just went ahead and called the Alamodome and they DO NOT allow tailgating!! :mad: In case you haven't heard they DO charge $8 to park!!

If anyone wants to see highlights of sinton and zapata game go to kristv.com and go to the sports section, thought someone that didn't make it might enjoy it. Those aren't the only highlights.

I am almost broke right now! I went to the Sinton basketball game last night and they have not increased the ticket prices by a dollar like they did in volleyball but they have doubled the prices for both the adults and students! :( :mad:

I am going to start doing the basketball thing as well. AP boys are off to a good start. Beat Rockport Friday night and Port Lavaca last night.:thumbsup:

I am curious about this too! My guess would be the hosting stadium BUT do they give any portion back to the teams? Probably a dumb question, but I never really thought about it.:thinking:

I wonder if they are going to do the same thing to baseball and softball game prices! :eek: I guess I can sit in the football stadium by them and watch most of the action. Still isn't the same as being there but you know when you want to get some candy to eat and your stomach says yes but your poketbook says no you know who wins that argument.

The good news is I get to go to a softball scrimmage this evening and it is FREE! We make up for it in tournament costs though. Admission to them is about $6.00 for the weekend BUT you get to watch more softball games than you can stand!:D

Oh...but the concession stand does make alot of money!:rolleyes:

Okay, the final say on the tailgater is pretty much no. They say no pits, no open flames at all. Only way we can do one is with already prepared food eaten with plastic utensils. And, we can only take up one parking space and must not interfere with normal parking operations in any way. With all these restrictions, I don't see how we can do this. I'm suggesting we just meet up inside somewhere.
