According to a report by Ohio State beat writer Kyle Rowland of ElevenWarriors.com, former Texas offensive coordinator Major Applewhite was working with Urban Meyer and the Ohio State offense at the Buckeyes' fall practice on Monday.

Applewhite coached at Texas from 2008 until 2013 when Texas hired current head coach Charlie Strong.

Ohio State's offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Tom Herrman was a one time graduate assistant at the University of Texas.
