Normally I wouldn't, but Miguel Cabrera is participating. I just hope it doesn't screw up his swing.

Should be a great series...the Rangers will probably clinch the division during that series while also eliminating the Tigers from theirs.Quote:

The way the CWS are playing both the Twins and Tigers.

Chris berman abd joe morgan just need to give it uo...can't stand them
Chris..yes. Joe..no
And an hour and a half later Miguel finally bats. :(
I'm watching. I've always like Cabrera, but I'm rooting for Big Papi :D
How come Josh Hamilton hasn't participated since he had that awesome showing 2 years ago?
J ham declined
Why though? Maybe he doesn't want to have to match what he did two years ago.Quote:

I forgot how boring the derby can get. Im just ready for football to start up :(
Most people that do well in the HR Derby, only participate once. They almost all say that they changed their natural swing to try to hit homers and very often that carried over into the 2nd half of the season. If you will remember, the 2nd half of 2008 was terrible for Josh...I am sure that he wants no part of that.Quote:

just not enough outfield seating for the fans...keep seeing so many balls all the way from left center to right center that no one gets...
and quoted from j ham a few weeks ago, "I feel like, 'Why mess up a good thing?'" "I've got nothing to prove. It's fun. I would like to do it, but you've got to think about the whole season and the club."
