But when he and ohara get together there are always sparks.
Mclintock and Silent Man will always be in mytop 10.

The Cowboys is probably my favorite John Wayne movie
I liked the cowboys. That was on the other night. I just hate that the hero gets shot. But still a great movie. With a good cast to boot. Bruce Dern plays a very passable villain.Quote:

despite it being terribly inaccurate, i couldn't think of anyone else better to play the story book davy crockett in THE ALAMO
without a doubt "El Dorado" is my favorite movie of John Wayne's many.
Good party good party, no whiskey, we go home.
ALAMO
McLintock, Donovan's Reef and Hell Fighters are my favorites. It is hard to really name favorites because he made some really good ones.
A couple I will never pass by while flipping through the channels are In Harms' Way and They were Expendable.
All the westerns, but the Cowboys and Rio Bravo are my favorites.
picking one is terrible... The Cowboys... I loved True Grit... and Big Jake... dang this is possibly the most difficult post ever...
The Searchers
McLintock, Rio Lobo, Chisum
this should be fun - I've NEVER watched a John Wayne movie :D

So many great ones. Like the Comancheros and North to Alaska. Also Hatari was one of the best movies about catching animals for zoos ever made. It inspired the hit tv series Daktari.
