District Preview: Overview
Wimberley will once again run through the district. Canyon Lake will likely be the only opposition in district play. Navarro will have a tight battle with Boerne for the last playoff spot.
Bandera Head Coach: Larry Prince Returning Starters O/D 5/5
RB Ryan Walker (121 carries 1,337 yds 6 TD's returns but will get the ball from both QB Kyle Monroe and QB Michael Miller.
Boerne Head Coach: Dane Johnson Returning Starters O/D 7/6
Boerne will challenge for a playoff spot with QB Will Amik (1,009 yds, 15 TD's rushing; 2,064 yds 18 TD's passing)He will have three targets back WR's Paul Burns, Bryce Collins and Bradley Veselka.
Canyon Lake Head Coach: Matt Monzingo Returning Starters O/D 8/5
Canyon Lake's new QB has a friend in the backfield RB Zach Henshaw (1,227 yds 11 TD's). WR Matt Magness 554 yds 8TD's should help spread the ball around.
Fredericksburg Head Coach: Lance Moffett Returning Starters O/D 8/5
The Billies will look to QB Dillon Reeh (960 yds 4 TD's passing; 747 yds 7 TD's rushing) and RB Seth Studebaker (632 yds rushing, 127 yds receiving to turn things around.
Navarro Head Coach: Les Goad Returning Starters O/D 4/5
The district's leading rusher RB Eric Schleier (1,659 yds 23 TD's) L.J. Anderson (570yds 3 TD's rushing, 10 catches 80 yds receiving) could see time at QB.
Wimberley Head Coach: Weldon Nelms Returning Starters O/D 8/8
QB Brady Lambert (2,547 yds 18 TD's passing, 987 yds 20 TD's rushing) RB Trinity Wilson (1,072 yds 18 TD's) and WR Breenen Blakemore will light up the scoreboard once again in 2011. 16 Starters return from last year's State Semi Finalist.
