FINAL Llano wins 26-12.

LH had 5 turnovers.

Congrats Llano on pulling it off for the first time in years. Hopefully someone from 8-3A can make a good run this year!

LH really caught Llano off guard with that passing attack in the Panthers' first score, I must say.

Nice to finally beat the Hill after the last few years, and a good way to end the season for the Jackets.

And best of luck to all the District 8 teams in the playoffs; I'll be pulling for all of you to represent us all well. :D

I was just getting score updates, could LH not run the ball at all?

LH moved the ball well at times but Llano seemed to stiffen when they had to. Talk about wide open on thier pass plays. Llano defenders nowhere around.

HAHA dang. Well good game yall, looks like your Slot-T was better than LH's this year. It's been a rough year, glad it's over.

Well now it is time to rest up and get healthy for basketball. Well, in our case Baseball.

I think they are together with Rouse and Vandergrift, and Burnet

Well, Congrats to Llano. Last I remember it was said that Llano ran, "the poor man's version" of the slot-t, compared to LH. Well I guess not this year. Good luck to all 8-3A teams in the playoffs. Represent us well!

I suspected it was the case, but I looked at the box score this morning to confirm it.

LH slightly outgained Llano in both passing and rushing yards. Fickel ran for more than 200 yards (I figured he was close to 200, but didn't realize he had 205). And LH never punted.

So clearly, moving the ball wasn't the problem for LH. The Panthers offense was driving pretty consistently but simply had trouble finishing -- turning drives into points.
