By request... Pearsall was quite successful in the '40's and '50's winning two regional championships in the 1940's and making the Quarterfinals 4 times in 9 years in the 1950's but have never been able to make it back, losing in the Regional Semis twice since then.

Yeah, you want to know why Hondo is a big rival, go back and look at how many times Pearsall finished second to Hondo in the standing pre-1983. The Mavericks would be up there too in all-time playoff appearances if it wasn't for the Owls year in and out.

Another thing, I know Uvalde is 4A but do you have their series history with Pearsall off hand?
