Which is more common in a 3 way tie.

1. Using point differentials of the three teams in every district game.

2. Using the point differential of the 3 teams in their games against each other?

Both with a cap obviously for blowouts.

Forney is in a three way tie and I can't get a definite answer from anyone. If the tie breaker is option 1, they are in, if it's option 2, they are in if they lose and team C wins by 11 or more.

If I'm not mistaken, every district decides how their tie breakers are decided. Any info on the way other districts do it may or may not apply..

I learned the two districts we cover use point differentials between the teams who are tied with the cap being 18 points and no points taken away for losses.. I was also told that this is pretty common

so option 2
