I'll be there. Of course I will be wearing full black gear....with a little yellow on my shirt.

Sorry Brownwood friends but, Sweetwater and their little brother from up 84 have been
slugging it out for quite a long time. Go Snyder!

Now if you'll excuse me...I need to order two more tequila shots to wash down this Bud Light. :D

I may do that, but I'll take 36 from Abilene to Rising Star, pickup 183, and come into Early right by Humphrey Petes. Those roads are pretty good as well.

Give us a shout when coming by Sweetwater. We may run along with you.

The run down 70 to 153 and through Winters appears shorter.

This is the quickest route, but watch out for the deer.

Speaking of deer, last year Dahop out maneuvered a deer in his wife's mini van, but he forgot to take a pic of RWB's old stomping grounds. If we do go the 153 route, I'll take the pic as long as somebody reminds me what the name of the small town was. Lol

Its a tad shorter, but you dont really save any time for some reason. All those years of going back and forth to Austin, I took just about every route imaginable. Not a whole lot of difference in time, in any of those 3 routes to be honest. 84 is the best highway, but 36 is a real nice ride from Abilene to Rising Star. Lots of deer though. Probably not the best option for coming back home in the dark for sure. But I guess any route is going to have lots of deer. Good thing I’ve got a big ol Ranch Hand grill guard to bounce em off of. :D
