Well , Gatesville, you may know you made the play-offs, and congratulations, but you are putting the cart before the horse. I believe I would be neck deep in the game I had before me. Am I mistaken, but is'nt China Spring a foe worth being wary of. Why put your attention on Burnet so early. They will rise up and bite you when the time comes. Pay attention to the foe at hand.

I am sure Gatesville is not looking ahead of China Spring. Gatesville is playing for a piece of the D 7 title (even though they lost to Glen Rose). I do think it helps that you know who you are playing next week so your scouting coaches can focus on Burnet, but I would bet it was all about the Cougars this week with the varsity coaches. Also, Gatesville v. China Spring is a rivalry game that has seen some shootouts and some key games back in D 17.
