Mexia, Fairfield, Crockett????
Mexia always has talent..
Fairfield went three rounds deep and return a lot of peeps
Crockett always has lots of athletes..

This is arguably the toughest district in 3a(along with district 12). Mexia always seems to have tons of talent, but they seem to have contracted the Marlin Syndrome(cant win the big game). Crockett has talent year in and year out, yet seem to be underachievers every year. Fairfield yo yo's around alot. Good this season, bad next season. They had an awesome season in '02, but they snuck up on alot of teams. So, I break it down like this.
Mexia(usually doesnt hit skid until the playoffs)
Fairfield(Wont be able to sneak up on anyone, but should still be strong with all their returning starters)
Crockett(Im tired of picking them and being wrong every year).

I think Fairfield did sneak up on rusk(the first game), but after that i think they got some peoples attention..dunno if they can repeat again from last year..had a great year..i agree with what u said about crockett. never can win a big game..i think their coaches may kill them...ive seen them make some silly calls..mexia is always tough..just tough to open up with jasper 1st round...
