My employees just gave me a cake, a 12 pack of dos equis and a bag of Ricolas for my cough.

I had to throw all of their lunches and snacks out of the fridge so the beer could chill properly. I also let them know they could eat the cake whenever they get hungry.;) :D

Been drinking Shine Bock since 1986 when I had to order is special by the case at a stork in the old longneck case only $4 a case then now $10-$12 for a 12 pack

Miss it a lot when we go on cruises so drink Corona

Had Shiner Bock at our big wedding reception in 1998- $110 a keg

...over a Shiner when I can find 'em on tap. You don't come across them as often, especially Terrible.

My "everyday beer," however, is Miller Lite. Shiner's better at dinner, but Miller's better when it's hot outside.

Drank a lot of Bud Light Lime during the late summer and fall. Very good on a warm day.

Current faves are Shiner, Negra Modelo, and Newcastle. I would drink Newcastle all the time if I could find it more often.

Shiner Bock was always my fav, but I switch around a lot... like bdr my every day beer would be Lite, but every now and again if I got a buck on me I'll pick up a 16 oz lonestar on my way home from work (for the hell of it, a poor man's Chiner Bock)...

a beer that has shocked me in its not-bad taste is Bud Light Wheat... kinda like your Hefe, unfiltered wheat beer... not bad at all...

had a realllllly tall and cold Guiness at Buffalo WWs last night... after two realllllly tall and cold miller lites... after those two Lites the Guiness went down smoooooof....

I'll drink about anything... really enjoy drinking micro brews but no fav yet... Sierra Nevada IPA gets a thumbs up from me...

ooh speaking of Sierra Nevada... their wet-hop brew is pretty good... forget what it's called... may be "Wet Hop Ale"... they brew the beer using hops that are no more than 24 hours old... a really interesting and fresh flavor to it... almost raw... another thumbs up...

Agreed. Corona is awful.

Pabst is where it's at people. Or, an ice cold Shiner Bock. If it ain't those 2 and it doesn't say Lonestar on it this guy ain't drinking it.

Austin carries them in HEBs and pretty much every grocery store; that's why I got confused.

At the same time, I don't recall any back home (but I wasn't looking for it either), so maybe it's just in my hipster town.

I normally don't go to HEB's when I'm downtown:D LOL

But I know the HEB's in Georgetown don't carry them. Waco doesn't either. But don't you worry, I will find a way to get my hands on that amazing beverage.

It’s funny how my taste in beer has changed as I have gotten older. In college Budweiser/Bud Light, MGD, Miller Lite, etc. were considered “premium” beer. LOL. Now? Yuk! I am not going to criticize you for drinking it, though. If you like it, have at it. I guess since I drink beer in much smaller quantities, taste is much more important to me.

These days I drink Shiner Light or Shiner Bock. The Shiner Blonde, however, is one of the worst beers I have ever had. My wife and I both thought it reminded us of the smell of cat piss. I also drink Dos Equis with some lime, Molson Ice occasionally. I’ve been told the RealAle beers (brewery is in Blanco) are really good, but have yet to try them. Also like Sapporo, but have never bought it more than one at a time, usually at a restaurant.
