Rookie Chase Budinger scores a career high 17 points as the Rockets defeated the Jazz 113-96. Houston had eight players score in double figures & Luis Scola pulled down 15 rebounds. Aaron Brooks dished out 9 of the 29 Houston assists and led the balanced attack with 19 points. This is a fun team to watch, no superstars & plenty of unselfish hustling players. The Rockets will host the Lakers on Wednesday, with Ron artest returning since playing last season with the Rockets. So far, the exchange of players has greatly benefitted the Rockets. Trevor Ariza is the Rockets top scorer averaging 21.2 points & shooting 47.5% from the field. Ariza has been hot from behind the 3 pt line shooting at a 52% clip. Ron Artest has started slow with the Lakers, averaging 8.3 pointd on just 32% shooting. He is a terrible 23% from behind the arc & just 36% from the free-throw line.
