Didn't Palestine beat Brownsboro last week? I would put them up there. Their three losses were:
A good 4A Jacksonville team by 3
A 4A Kilgore team (their worst game of the year)
An at the time ranked Navasota team by 8.

Athens 29 Palestine 14
Not sure what happened to Palestine Friday but that score is surprising. Palestine's d isn't good but their offense is. Hard to believe the only put up 14. I wonder if there was an injury or something?

Silsbee and Bridge City should be in Navasota and Coldsping's places....

idon't know about navasota, haven't seen them play, but wherever cleveland is, coldspring should be a spot or two behind, they are truly two evenly matched teams, either both ranked closely teams or both not ranked at all.....

I can tell you what happened. PHS play flat and unemotoinal. The entire team acted like the didn't want to be there and got their butts handed to them:mad:

I agree with you that Silsbee should be in this poll, and they should replace Coldspring. I think between Silsbee and Navasota it's a coin flip. BC is not better than Navasota. BC is improved, but not quite in the 10 best. Navasota belongs there.

You can tell they were looking ahead to this week's rivalry with Westwood.
