ok, just heard this on rome, and it got me thinking......

back when woody hayes was the coach of ohio st, his buckeyes were beating michigan 50-17, and he decided to go for two. when someone asked why he went for two, his response was " because we couldn't go for three."

are there any teams that you feel that, if you had the opportunity, you would do that do?

If I were coaching at Port Isabel.....and got the opportunity to play Sealy, they'd be the only ones i'd run up the score on with running 2 point conversions.

Other than that, i'd call off the dogs after my team scored 42, unless it's a "track meet" kind of game, then i'd try to have my team score as many as possible.

i dont think that teams should ever run up scores. i was taugh at a young age that you should never beat a team as bad as you can....also if you run up the score on someone eventually someone else will do it to you...would not be as fun then.
