Are you saying that a crew of Homers can't affect the outcome of a close game? Especially when the head ref was the head of Bellville youth football. Who still cries about getting stomped by these kids who are now Sealy freshman. To bad it won't be like that tonight.

I am not taking up for the Bellville refs. during this game and was not there however our 8th grade team played at Sealy last year and they had 2 refs.. They were horrible to say the aleast, on some plays after we were tackled our RB would get up to give the ball to the ref and he would point at the ground for our RB to put the ball on, other times the ref. would drop the ball from his knee and where it rolled is where it stay. Terrible, also the game was won by Sealy on the last play of the game with an illegal forward lateral. So you have no room to talk about REFs. Sorry had to go their.

certainly NOT for a playoff game - subvarsity - sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do - I have no idea the circumstances of last night's game, but I've been to Freshman, JV games where the refs didn't show up or there was a mixup and parents or whoever had to call the game. I am sure they would have rather watched the game instead of calling the game. Either way - I would never say EVERY GOOD PLAY was called back by the refs.. Jeez - sounds like sour grapes to me. I'd like to see the stats - aka how many flags against Sealy - if there were 5 - does that mean Sealy only had 5 good plays?

Cool 44 if it doesn't affect your team its ok. Freshman should not care if refs steal a game from them. Its important to those kids. 2 TDs called back and a Bellville interception 2 yds out of bounds called in bounds dont affect the outcome of a 10 pt game.
