This is a no brainer. I don't think it's possible for any QB to do
worse than Kerry Collins did last week.:dispntd:

I've got a sneaking suspicion that Tennessee finds a way to win the game and by next week Titans fans are all back on the "Vince just wins" bandwagon.

I agree that this was a no brainer. You are sitting "0"fer on the year and you are paying Vince a TON of money to be a back-up. Last year he flaked out and Collins came in and led the team to 13-3 and proved that it was the right decision. Now he has led the team to a winless season and this too is the right decision

Regardless of how VY performs, the Titans have a glaring weakness on defense. They've been lit up for a lot of points this year. Jacksonville's offense doesn't really light up the scoreboard, so Tennessee has a chance in this one. Beyond this Sunday, if Tennessee is to win some games before the season ends they'll have to do it by outscoring opponents. I don't see that happening much with VY. He's still not a good passer.

This is a smart move by the Titans. They need to see if Vince is worth keeping...especially since he's due a roster bonus in March of 4.5 million.

Some NFL teams are liking the shift towards "wildcat offense", seems like VY could offer that to a struggling team as an "option".
