the billies have a strong senior group that gets a support from two really good jrs.......club volleyball for a long period of time has helped this group get strong........and add in a hard working coaching staff.

What kind of teams are La Vernia, Lytle & La Feria. Do they have any size to them. I know Wimberley, Columbus, La Grange, Fredericksburg and Needville brings some good size to the court and hard hitters.

I sure hope so! Not sure how they'll look come basketball and track season though. There's some stiff competition in this district in those two sports.

Lady Jays are getting better in basketball due to this group of girls and they have won the district title the last 4 or 5 years in a row in track

Fredericksburg and columbus will be a good game but i wouldnt be so quick to say the billies over the cards. havent seen the cards play much this year but they were very good against la vernia and have the size and the talent to take down anyone in the state.

The Lady Cards only have 2 losses this season and they came at the hands of top ranked 4A Brenham and a 5A school from Dallas... They are the real deal and shouldnt be taken lightly by anyone. If im correct i also believe they are ranked 3rd in the state in 3A right now. Should be a great game this friday and i too wish i could be there and go get em Lady Cards and bring home a state championship!
