Said after LG beat them that they may not win another game this year, I do not think they will win this week for sure. Next week's game with Bellville could be a game of who wants to finish 4 th or 5th. Giddings by 2 or 3 TD's.

I heard that smithville was inside the sealy 20 yard line and could have scored but fumbled 3 times???

Smithville isn't a bad team, giddings is a good team. Hmmmm anything can happen, all about turnovers and field position...

Good luck to both teams.

I say Giddings wins. It will be interesting to see if Smithville competes better than last year when they came in with a little hype behind them.

I have been waiting for that one big upset from the tigers. And still convenced there gona get it. Tigers will find a way to pull this out, 31-28 tigers. Giddings is suspect this yr, depends on wich buff team shows up. not world beaters like years past. playing at home, i just see the tigers fighting to the end, ask lg if this team well just lay down for the buffs wich most ppl are thinking . Its not like giddings is far away a better team, there alot closer than precived this yr. Tigers well shake up the playoff hunt. (im a homer by the way.) but i do see this game "closer than the experts think"

I hope Smithville does win so La Grange can win district outright.

I have all the respect in the world for Coach Wiley and his staff but I just don't see Smithville taking it this year. Good team or not......they're just not better than Giddings.....no matter which Giddings team shows up.

I hope LG beats Sealy so we can all have only one loss. All tied for district champs.

i hope for this also, but only after bellville beats sealy. then there will be a 2 way tie for 1st and 2ed, with the bulls advancing to the playoffs in the 3 spot..

sealy should go 15-0 this year

Honestly, does anyone out here think that giddings is sitting back thinking this one is in the bag? I feel, just my opinion, that giddings is more motivated to play this game to perfection.
I heard that smithville has some injuries as does giddings, but this comes down to who wants it more and judging by last week, giddings shows that they want to win games.

Trust me the way giddings has played this year no is takeing anything for granted. We have a lot of tallent but hard to get motivated, lacking senior leadership. I see a lot of things that are a positive. And some that have a lot of us wondering, if giddings brings it A game we win if we come out dead anything is possible. Also I do not believe sealy can come anywhere near 15 and 0. IMHO

Giddings is not taking anything for granted. Any one of these teams in D25 brings everything but the kitchen sink when they play Giddings, so we never know what to expect. Has anyone noticed the starters that we lost the last 2 years? And we still win? It's the coaches and the kids! They work their butts off. Great job coaches! Find a way to win!

I see Giddings coming out looking the best they have all season and getting the win 42-10

I hope Smithville shows up healthy. I also hope the Buffs are full strength. If I remember correctly, last year, Xavier McDaniel intercepted the ball, like around 5 times. He was on fire that night. Is he playing college ball somewhere? Should be.

We have a great team this year. I've been surprised at how good we've been. Especially our O line which we lost I think almost every starter to graduation. The Defensive line has played outstanding ball too. Hope its back to full strength soon.

It great watching the young men grow up and come into their own during the season. I really think this team can go deep into the playoffs. They've got talent, size, and God given speed.

Go Buffs!

I'm betting Smithville's hoping the buffs are thinking that too. I think the tigers will lose this game but by not as much as you might think.

I think the Buff's understand that they really haven't clinched anything yet and a loss in this one could wreck their playoff hopes (don't think they want to rely on Bellville beating Smithville in week 10).

We'll be back to full strength and Coach Fitz will have them ready to go!

Smithville's defense is Sh****. Now that they have lost there best defense lineman to injury they will be even worse. They would have to score 55 to beat Giddings. Believe that!

Dont think they get past Cuero in the second round of the playoffs. Plus La Grange might beat them as well. Could see them watching from the stands as La Grange vs. Giddings part II takes place later this year.

Dito!! Expect the unexpected on hollowes eve, could get spooky for the buffs one night early with a loss.
