Let's hear your opinions on who wins the final couple of games, who makes the playoffs, and what divisions everyone winds up in.

EXAMPLE:
31-3A
Week 9 Games
Ingleside beats Sinton
West Oso beats Aransas Pass
Robstown beats Falfurrias
Orange Grove beats Mathis

Week 10 Games
Orange Grove beats Aransas Pass
West Oso beats Sinton
Mathis beats Falfurrias
Robstown beats Ingleside

STANDINGS:
31-3A
1. Mathis 5-2
2. Robstown 5-2 (D1)
3. Orange Grove 5-2
Ingleside 5-2
Sinton 5-2
West Oso 3-4

Just an example. I don't see Sinton or Ingleside being kept out of the playoffs.

Oops, I just started a thread for 16 3A. There are so many possibilities.

Pitt is in
LE is 99% in over PG head to head and +18 points. If PG wins out and LE loses to New Boston, LE could be sitting at home. Gonna be a crazy week 9, nothing for certain and way too many possibilities.

Best guess
1. Pitt
2. LE -D1
3. NB

could actually be 3 teams tied for title in 1 scenario.
Pitt 4-1 loss to PG wk 10
LE 4-1 loss to Pitt wk 8
PG 4-1 loss to LE wk 6
:vrycnfsd: :vrycnfsd: confused yet ??

What happened to LE against Pitt? Is Pitt that good we may need to keep an eye on Pitt if they can beat LE like they did they might could go all the way. That was my WOW game of the week when I saw the score. Don't know much about either of these but I thought LE was pretty tough.

Probably one of the weakest programs in the state. Hope they are turning things around.

They may go a ways in playoffs. Very poor performance and execution by LE offensively, team was outcoached and outplayed.

I looked at 9-3A and nobody has been mathematically eliminated yet. Whitesboro has to have some really, REALLY crazy stuff happen, one of which is beat Celina, but on paper they aren't done.

Realistically, though, it'll be Prosper D-I and between Celina and Argyle for D-II (not ready to call this one for Argyle yet, Celina has too much history dominating their games). After that it's Sanger, Gainesville, and Whitesboro.

Rumor around Bellville is they are starting BB on Wednesday and will have their first scrimmage on the 11/7. I understand this was the plan, since the basketball coach was upset that he had to start late last year which he said cost him.

District 7 3-A Week 9

West beats Gatesville
China Spring beats Glen Rose
Whitney beats Hillsboro

Week 10
West beats Whitney
China spring beats Gatesville
Glen Rose beats Hillsboro

West, Glen Rose and China Spring all finish at 4-1 in district, with West and Glen Rose DII and China Spring DI. If it works out this way, I don't know who the district champ is, because Glen Rose beats West, West beats China Spring, and China Spring beats Glen Rose.

So far, Argyle has no losses, Prosper has 1 to Argyle, and Celina has 1 to Prosper. Everyone else has at least 2. As long as Propser beats Sanger and Gainesville (which they should), and Argyle beats Gainesville this week (which they should) Celina can lose the next two games (Whitesboro and Argyle) and finish with 3 district losses and tie Sanger. Since Celina beat Sanger they would hold the tie breaker with their head to head win, so Celina goes. However, Celina should be able to handle Whitesboro rather easily a tie is not that great of a possibility.

If Celina Beats Argyle, there would be a three way tie for first place with one loss a piece. I don't know how they would choose the district champion and seeding, but the playoffs would be:
Prosper D1
Celina D2 - top seed in D2
Argyle D2
Sanger
Gainesville
Whitesboro

If Celina loses to Argyle, then Argyle wins district outright and it would be:
Prosper D1
Argyle D2 - district champ and top seed in D2
Celina D2
Sanger
Gainesville
Whitesboro

With this being said, Celina needs to buckle down and beat Whitesboro rather than thinking they are already in the playoffs and letting a hard fighting Whitesboro team sneak up and beat them!

Now the question comes, DO TEAMS START RESTING PLAYERS AND GETTING THEM READY AND HEALTHY FOR THE PLAYOFFS?. I know Celina is still trying to find the right mix and needs time to get some returning injured players back in the feel of games so I don't see them resting a lot of players in the next two games.

Tigerfan,

Just make sure the basketballs are aired up and that the football players that play b-ball are practicing their jump shots.
