With La Marque and El Campo likely moving down to 3A and Cameron Yoe going to 2A this scenario could happen.

District 24

Bryan Rudder
Caldwell
Giddings (takes place of Cameron Yoe)
Madisonville
Navasota
Rockdale
Taylor

District 25

Bellville
Brookshire Royal (takes place of Giddings)
Columbus
La Grange
Sealy
Smithville

District 26

La Marque (takes place of Brookshire Royal)
Needville
Stafford
Sweeny
West Columbia
Wharton

District 28

El Campo (moves into district)
Cuero
Gonzales
idk

there is no way to predict the new districts every 2 years... but yours would be very interesting

Rudder has 900+ and will have to multiply times 1.3 (to account for the fourth class). That should put them well into 4A numbers.

I think it would make for some interesting games if sealy was in ur projected D24

Then who would take Sealy's place in D 25?

The top # 0f 3A will not go up this year, because of all the HISD schools not opting to play up. LM and EC will be 4A.

That is a very similar district to what giddings has had for years, we all kinda expect to swing back that way soon. You could have nailed it.

Well with BOTH 1A and 2A expanding to 4 teams per district qualifying for the playoffs (essentially) in the two division system, I could see the 2A/3A cutoff increasing dramatically in order to fill up all of those lower classification districts which would move the 3A/4A cutoff up as well. 3A will be the only classification that WON'T have the equivalent of 4 playoff teams per district in 2010.

Might Brookshire drop back to 2A or are they secure in 3A?

I could see Rockdale and Taylor in a district with Lib Hill again. I think Taylor for sure wont be in D24 with Cameron dropping to 2a and rockdale being the only other school within an hour of Taylors city limits...

I think you are mistaken. If they combine 2 districts and put all big schools in 1 dist. and all little schools in another, and there will be 2 playoff teams from each dist=4. The old way 3 teams from each dist made the playoffs=6
