With only 2 weeks left in regular season, who's some of the rushing leaders in 3A.

Trent Jackson has rushed for 1273 yds so far this season.

What are some of the other names out there.

I don't have his stats with this last night's game, but through the Columbia game Jamell Woodard had:


134 carries, for 995 yds. That's 7.43 ypc. He has averaged 142.1 ypg. His longest carry is 78 yds and he has 13 tds.

Impressive stats to me.

I'm not sure of his numbers, but Butler from Mathis is pretty good. I mean....SINTON shut him down, but against everyone else... :)

yep - he's averaging 9.42 yards per carry and has 15 TD's
kinda ironic - Tyler Arndt passing yards are 1269 pretty balanced

You won't see a Wylie RB leading any kind of stats...the ball is spread out among 3-4 RB's and our QB gets quite a few on the ground as well. Kinda glad we don't have a single "star" player for defenses to key on and shut down..

Sweeny's Jamell Woodard 16 carries 88 yards 1 TD vs. Needville. That would be about 1,083 yards. He had two long TD's called back including a 60 yarder.

Jackson has sat out the fourth qtr 3 times. He also shares the load with Tyler. Like someone else already said, Tyler has 1269 yds passing. That's good balance. Jackson is averaging 9.42 yds a carry.
