Tenn has a really good pass defense.

Eric Berry is a very disrespected defensive player.

In the pregame, they spent 5 minutes talking about McClain-- then just gave Berry an oh-by-the-way mention after the game started. Seems like after the Florida game Berry would have earned a little more attention.

GO VOLS.

Bama is supposed to be the clear cut #1? Sorry two weeks in a row to me they look great on D, TERRIBLE on O

once again, there have been some questionable calls by the SEC ref's to the benefit of the #1 ranked team.

Yeah and i believe if Texas can dominate Missouri and Florida doesnt completely dominate Miss St. we could see Texas jump to #1

I don't know about all that poll stuff, but Bama does NOT look like the #1 team in the country.

I listening to CBS & ESPN and they are saying how this was a grea game, but last week the were saying the Texas/OU game was horrible.

It's probably because they expected a low scoring, defensive battle of field goals in the SEC, particularly with Alabama involved, whereas they were expecting fireworks in UT/OU.

More so because of the recent history of the series than current season realities, methinks.

But you get an SEC game, especially one with Alabama, you KNOW you're getting defense and the winner is the team that kicks the most FGs.

Seems silly to me, but from a sportscasting point of view, I can imagine them calling the SEC a "smashmouth defensive extravaganza" while the Big 12 game is a sloppy, ugly game with bad offense. No, no double standard tghere...
