sooo, i know that ingram really isn't expected to score many, if any, points in this game. i guess my question is, when should backups come into the game? i do actually feel bad that ingram has been a floor mat for everyone for so long, but sometimes these things happen.

It's fairly common for the starters to run one series in the second half and then the reserves come in. It's not any kind of "unwritten rule" but that's usually about when coaches start draining the bench in this situation.

Ingram wins this one.

that's about what i would expect too, but i wasn't sure if they would even need to play till the second half in this one. i'm not trying to get on a high horse or anything, but i would think that if burnet gets up by 5 td's, then it may be time to start running second string, even if it's still in the first half

It's gotta happen sometime. This week is where it goes down.

i guess you're right, we shouldn't consider ingram to be all that dreadful, yall only beat them by like 76 or something like that

Moved those two athletes at RB to LB to have some speed on the defense and moved their starting DT to QB and they're gonna run the Tim Tebow offense at Burnet come Friday. That's just one of the wrinkles. I can't tell you the rest.

Ingram has also been working on the 10-1 defense. Be afraid.
