Devine's playoff hopes still alive and it opens the door for Pearsall to still have a shot at the league title. Bandera at Hondo next week.

What does it all mean? So far........Pearsall beats Bandera by 3. Pearsall beats Devine by 3, Bandera beats Devine by 1. Hondo beats Pearsall by 8. Devine beats Hondo by 2. What are the results of a Bandera/Hondo win?

What it means is that District 29 stinks.

if Hondo beats Bandera then its
1. Hondo
2. Pearsall
3. Bandera

if Bandera wins then its

I think they still get a first round bye, cause there is no district 30. So if it's like last year all three that make the playoffs get byes.

Not comparing just saying the same reasoning makes one strong but the other weak? What makes it weak? Last year was an off year but before that Hondo and Devine had made deep playoff runs while Bandera won a state title. Does 29-3A have the athletes that some of the other districts have, no, but they seem to find ways to win playoff games.

Hondo's playoff record alone speaks for itself.

And I didn't know that winning mostly every game against all other surrounding districts meant this district was weak. Pre-district.......

Hondo lost to MV 4A
Pearsall was undeafeated
Bandera lost to La Vernia by 2 without Hubble
Devine lost to Cuero

youre right all of those were weak opponents!
