Kinda expected this to happen, BUT, then again I wasn't sure if LG was as good as they seemed.

I sort of expected LG to win in the back of my mind.... BUT I didn't know exactly how good they were.... hence why I WANTED to go to this game really badly. So I could see for myself how good LG is.

This La Grange team was what I was expecting last season out of the Leps. Boy I wish that I was at this ball game.

Great game 36-32 (not 31). Can't say the Leps didn't have their chances. Game winning play 4th and 15 from the 40 with 3 minutres left in the game and Wehr gets rushed deep but scrambles to avoid three Lep defenders just in time to hit his receiver just beyond the poles to get the first. They then scored the winning td with 1:58. Leps drove to the Giddings 17 and with 11 seconds left threw to #5 Morris in the end zone but it slipped through his hands. Next pass with 2 seconds overthrown, game over. Congratulations to both teams for one heck of a show.

Most intense Giddings game I've been too. Much more intense than the 2 OT game in the Regionals last year against Bellville.

Giddings tried to give it away. The pouch kick gave us trouble and we gave the Leps some extra chances with dumb penalties and turnovers. Let’s not even mention our pouch kick with 2 minutes left that went 9 1/2 yards!

But when we were down 26 to 7, it was not looking good. Got to give the guys credit pulling this one out. On the way home, still not sure how we scored 29 in a quarter and a half, yet only gave up 6.

As always good game Leps! #6 was really on tonight and what can I say about #9, what a player! He had our #4 spinning his head and when we double teamed him, still got a touchdown.

I'm sure La Grange will do well in the playoffs. Giddings still has a lot of work to do. A loss to Smithville would be devastating! So got to stay focused and not over look Smithville.

Wow! What a great game.

Great game by both teams. LG's special team(3 missed extra point) and a key fumble early in the third quarter let Giddings back in the game and Giddings took advantage of it. Both teams let it all out last night, one of the best games between the two towns.
