Most likely this is the work of some clever lad who put the rumor out on the DownLow. If it were true we'd have heard about it by now from other sources. :cool:

He sustained a sprained ankle in wed. practice and is seriously doubtful, thats the word around here. Smithville backup quarterback is also out with a broken wrist. They've brought up their jv QB.

Tough break for Ace and his team if this is true. I'm still not convinced this isn't a hoax. Why haven't we heard from any Smithville posters?

it is true. tough break for my tigers. he will not be playing. and with are back up qb breaking his arme against lg last week. we are down to the Jv QB. who will be thrown to the wolves tonight.

Dang that is too bad. I hope he gets better fast for the last two games. Meanwhile, let's see how the youngster does. There was a qb at UCLA back in my day that was a second stringer. His name was Rick Neuheisel. He had to start in the Rose Bowl game against Michigan IIRC as the starting qb was out with an injury. UCLA won. BTW he is the head coach there now.
