When Gainesville built their new high school, did they make improvements to football stadium? Is the field still grass, or is it sportsturf?

Anyone know the field condition?

Grass. And they received between 5-8 inches of rain in the past 36 hours.

has the field been played on recently and torn up, or will there be decent footing by tomorrow night?

All the Sub-varsity games moved to Celina...

Heck we even offered to play the Varsity game in Celina...

:)

It will be a sloppy, muddy mess in Gainesville tomorrow night!

Coach said that FT Arlington Heights field was a Cadillac compared to what we will see Friday night! It was a mud bowl last Friday vrs. Whitesboro and last nights rain is standing on the field

We played there week before last and it was terrible. There has been more rain this week than then so it will be awful!

Who does a bad field help or hurt in this game?

What type of team is Gainesville? Running, passing or both?

Gainesville is a running team but they are built off of speed so I'm guessing it will hurt them more.. They are missing their stud running back who tore his ACL a couple of weeks ago so I'm hoping the wet conditions will slow down the Celina offense and keep the game close and maybe Gainesville can some how pull this out

I made it rain. It was part of our cheatin plan this year.

Heck if it hadn't rained, then I was going to burst a water main to flood the field.

We gots lots oh mudders in Celina. :p
