Its hard to find coaches now a days that stay in the same spot for many years (as I mentioned in the Dan Hooks thread) So on that note...

Who are some coaches that have been at your school for years? not only HC/AD but even assistant coaches.

The one that comes to mind in Cameron is Randy Sapp, who's been here ever since the state run in '81.

Celina offensive cord has been in Celina for 16 years. I believe Celina has been his only coaching job. There are a few other Celina coaches that have been there 10+ years.

Coaches Wesley and Wilson from Navasota (one is a poster here, guess which) have both been here since way before I was in HS. I graduated in 01.

Jeff Traylor in Gilmer 10 years since 2000.

104-17 record.

Not sure if they're still there, but last I checked Aubie Glover and John Robledo were still in Ingleside. Both have been there since at least the early-90's, possibly longer.

joey worley from fairfield has been there since at least 92

Kaorder or Rabbit93 can confirm this, but I think Forney's Kevin Rush was an assistant in the early 90s. Not to sure though.

I don't really know the exact years but Sweeny's HC/AD Coach Z has been there forever he did however step down and become the principle for a while the he came back in 05. Coach Stewart has been at Sweeny probably just as long as Coach Z. Coach Scarbrough has been there since Coach Z also, but when Coach Z went to principle Scarbrough went to coach for Brazosport and came back to Sweeny when Coach Z started coaching again. I think thats it I'm not sure tho.

Coach Z came to Sweeny in 1989. Scarbro came to Sweeny in 1980. Both have been the a long time. Stewart came to Sweeny in 87 or 88.:p :o :D

Sandifer started as the head boys basketball coach. Great coach. Robledo was at Farmersville after Ingleside, now in Garland I think, not real sure.

Danny Henson has been HC/AD in Bridgeport for the last, mostly good, 17 years.

Sad to hear that he's gone, but good to see that he's moved up. Was also one of the best teachers I had.
