We have political discussions/religious discussions/UTandATM discussions on the RGV board without any problems. We are just trying to figure out how to centralize the political discussions. But every board is different. RGV board is a little bit more thick skinned than the downlow.

and by the way, the quote you took from me, it wasn't about his politics, but his rationale that it was done to quell the right wing posts on here, which is laughable and his expectation that his political motivation be tolerated on a SPORTS site that stipulates in the rules that it is NOT to be talked about. There are thousands of political forums. I'm sure he and the rest of us can find them.

While I haven't read 99% of the political posts on here, I can agree on the technicality of this. The most powerful negative rhetoric has no direct derogatory comments, but spews it in connotation, tone, and spin.

If I have sinned against you by belittling you in the past, I sincerely apologize. That has never been my intent. To be sure the debates get heated at times. Perhaps something was written in such a way that it was condescending or derogatory. If that is the case I apologize.

We are all brothers (and sisters) on the downlow and I hold no ill will for anyone on here. We may disagree on certain political ideologies and religious beliefs, but we all can agree on the greatness of 3A football.
