I know it's too late, since stats don't come out until today for the Tarps. But I like to give mad props to the Tarpons entire Offense team , as they have had their fair share of woes and finally things worked out for them.

The Tarps amassed a mind-boggling 565 yards rushing and totaled 631 against the La Feira Lions. It was also the third-best single game total in Valley football this season.

Joe Vega (200 yards rushing) had his best game. So did C.J. Barrera (110 yards, 3 TDs). Kyle DeMoss (121, 3 TDs) had his second-best outing.

Because I get them from the newspaper... and since Tarpons weren't covered in in the last weeks games, it wasn't even in the Sunday paper.

Despite the Tarpons records PI is not a bad team, it's just like the newspaper mentioned; "PI, favored by many to win 32-3A, lost its first three district games by a combined 14 points, and led the area in turnovers and bad breaks." Key point here is the last part, which is reflected in the W-L column.

PI is 2nd in total offense, with 1636 Rushing yards and 761 yards Passing, behind district leader Lyford Bulldogs (7-0) Lyford has a total of 2781 of offense, with 1351 yards passing.

On defense the Tarpons are 3rd, behind Lyford and Hidalgo.

Anyways, my vote goes to Sinton's, Josh Harrison
