18 shutouts in 22 games

They also went 32-1 from the last game of 1933 thru 1936

1911 Must have been a boring season with 1 game against the gobblers, the birth of the rivalry.

What happened in 1935 to make them ineligible for the playoffs?

Maybe we had a few Cuero residents on our team:)

I had no clue they were that good in this era.

They were ruled ineligible due to playing two ineligible players.

Look at the 2nd article from the left entitled "Yoakum Should Submit Evidence" in the link below

Simple amazing WOS87. We should forever be thankful to you for the service you provide us in keeping up with our local high school football history. Amazing sir.

This article is also fascinating to read. How things were handled back in the day. Appears they protested, heard the protest in the morning back in 1935, ruled against Yoakum that afternoon, then played the game between Lockhart and Luling, that night. In reading this article, appears Yoakum had evidence against this protest, but---time might of ran out before the contest was played in a telegram wired from Yoakum mayor. The mayor's played a big role in school functions back then I see.

Once again, thanks WOS87 and your service to our local schools. I have no idea how you do it.

For your valued service alone, I have become a donating member to 3ADL. This is good stuff!!!!
