I am sick of it. Just stop it. I don't know what poll they took that told them this is attractive or even a good idea, but I for one am sick of these horrible uniforms.

Last time there were so many ugly outfits that looked this ridiculous was at an Elton John Concert.

I was thinking they reminded me of a Whataburger!

You know, the throwbacks wouldn't be so bad if they actually wore unis that looked like they did back then, with the hip pads sticking out and all. Get rid of the shiny material, too. And those vertical stripes the Broncos wear....reminds me of the Chicago White Sox bad unis in the 70's.

I really like the AFL throwback Unis this year. Great celebration for the AFL and good stuff.

Highly reccomend "Full Color Football: The Story of the AFL". It is a miniseries on Showtime.

He was always gay...it was just before he admitted it!

LOL..I agree BreckTx...I gave up caring long ago whether or not a musician (or anyone else for that matter) was gay or not. I got other things in my life to worry about that are more important.

I believe the player on the sideline would have done a better job of shielding the ball from the defender. ;)

I wish Denver would wear the "Orange Crush" unis that they wore from 1968- mid 90's

All of the teams wearing the AFL throwbacks this year are wearing the uniforms that they wore in the AFL's inagural year. That's why there may be some better uniforms that are in the past that were overlooked. They're all wearing what they wore during the same era, not just what their best throwbacks were.

Teams should have to submit requests as to when they can wear throwbacks. If it is not a good reason, or the uniforms are ghastly (Denver) it should be denied. Example of Good Reason: TEAM (NOT LEAGUE) Anniversary, Thanksgiving Day, In Remebrance of a Former Player. You get the idea.

I'm pretty sure the AFL teams have to wear them at least 4 times this season so they are prolly trying to get that out of the way early in the season

Haha...the funny thing here is that they are required to submit requests and get approval on all jersey concepts.

But the AFL thing was not a decision made by the individual teams--it was mandated by the league. So even if the Broncos absolutely hated the mustard/brown, they'd still have to wear them.

And seriously, compared to the Seahawks snot-green jerseys that they debuted this year, I actually think the Broncos throwbacks are pretty nice.
