How Texas is ranked in each individual poll (http://pollspeak.com/pollstalker/pollstalker.php?s=9&p=17&t1=94&v=509&w=8&r=T)

Last week Texas was #22 in the Sagarin, they moved up #15 by beating #63 Oklahoma. So hopefully if Texas wins out the computers will keep on moving them up.

The meet of our schedule is coming up opposed to Boise and Cinci whose schedules are only going to get worse.

man USC gets their butt kissed every year. fact is that they always lose to some unknown and they just catch right back up. but when another team in a hard conference like the Big 12 or SEC lose they are usually dropped to about 13 or around that. they need to stop lickin their a$$

What would be more alarming D4C is if Boise State winds up ahead of a lot of one loss team and makes the National Championship Game. It could happen because they have a soft schedule to begin with and it is soft the rest of the way. The sad thing is they might win the National Championship game since that is the only one they really need to get ready for. Then look for teams to start playing soft schedules if it works.

Man Division 1 Football really needs a playoff system.

It's the first Poll. Which is when all polls should be released. The cream will rise. Have patience young grasshopper. The only poll that matters is the last one. And the only two spots that matter are one and two.

The one thing I hate about the BCS system is Team A can lose early in the season to a virtually unknown team and Team B can lose a game against a high ranked opponent late in the season and Team A will jump Team B even with a loss to a team who probably wouldn't make a bowl. USC does that year in and year out.

no way will Boise get to the Champ. game. even computers have the logic that a 1 loss team from ANY BCS conference would be better than an undefeated from the WAC. it would be different if Boise had scheduled some contenders in their non-conference games, but Oregon, Miami (OH), Bowling Green, UC Davis, and Tulsa just won't cut it. Oregon was their only even semi-decent competitor, and I watched that game. Oregon didn't show up.

The worst part for them is, their non-conference schedule is actually tougher than their own conference! they will make it to a bcs game, but not the championship.
