The history has now been completed and before you ask if the score against Bellevue from 1930 is a typo read the article below from an October 4th, 1930 newspaper

wow! What is the current record for most points scored in a single game by a team (non 6 man)?

I kind of found it over on Smoaky... Below you have the most COMBINED points for two 11-man teams in a single game. Even with Graham having the shutout they still rank #4 all-time for a combined score!

MOST POINTS GAME-ALL-TIME

186-Spur vs. Lorenzo, 1930
184-Roby vs. Aspermont, 1925
155-Memphis vs. Roaring Springs, 1925
145-Graham vs. Bellvue, 1930
144-Roby vs. Amherst, 1927
143-El Paso Burgess 87 El Paso Austin 56, 2004
142-Mexia vs. Coolidge, 1931
142-Spur vs. Estelline, 1930

Thanks for the update. That is still impressive! Do you have any clue what Bellvue looked like that year? Just curious to know if they knew something like this was coming.

Wow, 145 unanswered points. That's moving the ball up and down the field.

1932 they beat Bowie 99-0.
1941 they beat Quanah 91-0.

And in 1957, they scored a whopping season total of 500 points in 10 games... averaging 50 points a game!

Only one Graham team has even came close the those kind of points... the 2001 team scoring 428 points in 11 games. And guess who beat them in Bi-district... SWEETWATER!!!

UPDATE: As is their fellow district member Wylie, Graham is one of the 12 remaining 3A teams still alive in the 2009 playoffs. Their history has been updated through today and will be updated again at the end of the season.

Graham is having quite a season this year. This is the first season EVER that they will be playing a 14th game in a single season.

...and according to my numbers you guys hit All-Time Win #500 in your area round win over Monahans. Congrats!

And in 2001 David Bourquin was still the coach of Graham, and that was 428 points out of the Veer.

Thread reopened, graphic reuploaded. Will update through 2012 soon.

I think I've reuploaded the histories of all 12 teams remaining as of week 4 in the 2012 playoffs now. It's been a huge pain having to reupload each and every image one by one.

Since we are talking history, how and why did the pick Steers for the school mascot?

Every time I hear the name Steers, images of rusty pocket knives and those massive Burdizzo clamps flash in my mind.
