Have any of you played stafford? and if so what are your thoughts on them as a team?

Sweeny mudered them 48-2. My thoughts= WAY overrated. They played a cupcake pre-district and went 4-0 barely winning most of those games.


got into district, played a decent team and got demolished. Same old Stafford.

They physically looked impressive in warmups but the right side of their OL is short. 31 SRs out of 39 players. Expect to stop the run. I got home before 10. The clock hardly stopped.

Offense is avg 257.7
Defense is avg 233.7

I would say the offense. You can run all night on the defense.

I agree, my thoughts exactly. Curious as why some were putting them in their top 25 polls, we need to dig beyond the won-loss records.

We scrimmaged them and they were the same old stafford, Cannot belive they swept their pre district schedule

Sweeny's defense which really has been good all year held stafford to under a 100 yards total offense and 0 passing yards. and had 3 or 4 turnovers, i say stafford has no passing game so be ready to stop the run
