How long do threads remain active before they are removed?

Unless a mod moves them they are on the board somewhere, but I think it's 6 months after last post that they close automatically.

They are never removed....maybe "moved" at times. After several months of inactivity, they automatically close.

From time to time, we have been known to go back and open some of the more interesting ones!!:D
