Orange Grove @ Ingleside

After coming off a solid win against West Oso (39-14), Ingleside is looking to stay in the District Championship and playoff race when they face the Orange Grove Bulldogs this coming Friday. If Ingleside can continue to play mistake free football their offense can keep it rolling. Ingleside's D is stepping it up and making big plays as well. I am taking the Stangs on this one.

Orange Grove came out to play and that they did in the first half. Ingleside had a tough time getting things going offensivley in the first half and it was more of a defensive battle. The big turning point in the second half was when Ingleside made a real gutsy call when it was still 14 to 14 and went for it on 4th and 5 from their own territory and turned it into a huge TD. From there on out the momentum shifted for Ingleside. It could have been one of those plays that turned the tide fo OG had they stopped Ingleside. Ingleside pretty much held OG in check for the rest of the scond half. Glad the defensive coach made the necessary adjustments because OG was getting steady drives on us and it was winding the clock down in their favor.

Congrats on the win Mustangs!! You took care of business, now get ready for AP.
