Hanging 70....

Seems like we have got several really lopsided games this week. Not trying to say anything one way or the other---yet. I would like to hear how all of you feel about scoring 70 or above.

unfortnately for some Buckeye opponents..................sometimes it just beez that way:D seriously, Gilmer has made the mistake in the past of not letting the starters get enough time in. that is not happening this year, although 2nd and 3rd teamers are getting LOTS of playing time. The Bucks are very deep and you can't ask the kids to just lay down. jmo

I've watched some games where this happened (Llano beat Ingram 72-0 last year). Trust me -- short of taking a knee on every down starting in the 3rd quarter, it can be hard NOT to score 70. Even if you have the second and third teams in for the entire second half and call the game conservatively, if they keep turning it over and can't stop a simple running play with your third string offense, what can you do?
