There is sure to be some movement after Friday as we have 7 games between ranked teams.

1. Sealy vs Columbus...If Sealy wins they stay #1 and Columbus may drop depending on how competitve they are.

2. La Grange @ Smithville...both of these teams remain in the top 20 regardless of outcome.

3. Giddings vs. Bellville...It would seem these are regional top-10 teams win or lose.

4. Sinton @ Robstown...The Pirates are in W or L, the cotton pickers could stay in with a L if they play Sinton tough...and depending on some other games.

5. Pearsall @ Hondo...Think both these teams are top 20 material regardless of outcome.

6. Devine @ Bandera...loser in danger of dropping out

7. Yoakum @ Edna...ditto above

I am fully aware that Smithville beat Yoakum -
I don't play the team 1 beat
team 2 so team 2
beats team 3 game - too many variables. Any given team on any given night. I really don't know who will win between Yoakum and Edna - hence my Yoakum - Edna - Yoakum - Edna comment. Might be a blow out for all I know - but I just don't know at this point.
