13-10 final. pearsall won.

Bigger suprise is that without the Big 3 of bandera, they were able to put points up

What's up with Hubble? He came back after he got his nose broke then I noticed he didn't play last week.

Injuries have all but wiped us out! We lost our backup sophomore QB tonight in the fourth quarter to what look like a season ending injury( he was also a defensive starter). Our starting fullback was taking the snap after he went down. We have had only 22 players under helmet the last couple of weeks. Without Hubble, Ruiz, and Morrow our offense struggled to put points on the board. Our defense did a great job, but we are just about out of bodies!

Cisco was out due to a weightlifting accident which occured tuesday while doing hang clean. He set the bar down after he was done but there was a bar up there on top of the rack that nobody noticed and when cisco set the bar down the rack vibrated and the Bar fell and hit Cisco in the head.He had to get stiches and is not able to play till tuesday.
Pearsall was not as impressive as you would think given the circumstances. Also Leading offensive categories for bandera were Ryan Walker who had a night to remember and of course Colby Stewart and Kyle Monroe who all 3 are Sophomores.

no joke. you dont want to make excuses but theres not much you can do when your first team all-state QB goes down, along with the newcomer of the year and your starting RB.

Its almost an offense based around the QB, and were out of QB's.

Hold on guys, you had no problem putting up 47 points on CC with your backup QB. Then put up only 10 on Pearsall's defense through most of 4 qtrs. Come on. Give a little credit where it's due. Bandera had only two drives where they moved the ball and were held to 188 yards of offense. I will say, your defense has been flying under the radar because of the offense and Hubble all year.

I still do not have a feel on Bandera yet. I felt that we played one of our worst games of the year against them, but they still beat us. They racked up lots of points against most of the teams they played. But i t1hought they were 1 dimenional with thier qb and of course he is the one that broke a 78 td run to win.

amen on the defense. so under the radar. not matter how hard I try to get them noticed. and also, hubble is not bandera. stevens and young are. stevens took snaps when hubble went out. hasnt played qb since his freshman year, before hubble moved in. he is an absolute stud on the defensive side of the ball, along with young. they are just out of bodies on the offensive side. Walker and stewart are both going to be phenomenal playmakers in two years, but both of them are only sophomores and stil learning the ropes with the big boys.

Thats cuz Devine runs the slot. CC DB's are taught not to seperate from the hip of the WR. And lets face it, they dont have the talent other schools have. And when you dont have the talent, And your playing Man to Man D, you just cant stop the pass. Any team can just run a fade every play.

But oh ya. The defense has taken a big step up with Young moving from Corner to LB. I thought the D-Line was gonna be a little inexperienced with 3 juniors and only 1 starter coming back, but they have done very well. But with injuries, we lost a lot of DB too.
