we've talked about this before - it's going to be interesting to see how D25 ends up. shame that a good team will be sitting home for the playoffs

The guys doing the game for the STSN tonight were former Tiger QB Brad Burtschell, Coach TJ Mills and Coach Mark Faldyn.

Did I read those stats correctly? Giddings had more passing yards than Sealy? I thought the Buffs were mostly a ground-pounding outfit.

I haven't seen Sealy (ever) but I have seen Giddings (this year) and wouldn't be surprised at all if they're correct.

Sealy played great. Swarming defense. Kudos to the tigers. Kicker for tigers was awesome. He didn't miss the 2nd TD attempt, it was a fake they tried to run or pass that was broken up. Downey looked great. Was Sealy at full strength?

Buffs really missed their biggest defensive lineman. I hope he's back soon. Buff's (not so good) kicking game showed up. Bad placement due to slippery ball from what I could tell. Turnovers didn't help but the Tiger defense stopped Giddings on 4th down many times. A timely reverse play to counter the Tiger's overly aggresive defense could possibly have helped maybe?

The rainy wet field made for a sloppy game as expected. It took away both teams speed game.

This is a tough district. I like my crow wrapped with jalapeno and bacon.

We like to keep a low profile until the playoffs start.

You believe in your team, nothing wrong with that. And no, you can't have any poppers! :p

no not at all, they ran it all game long with an occasional pass, its just when they got down in the forth, they were forsed to throw the ball

We haven't had much rain in Giddings (until recent) for the last 2 1/2 years like Sealy has. Nobody has cut any hay until now for over 2 years. Our players don't know what a muddy field is....

This is my opinion only but I felt we should have thrown the tater on 1st or 2nd instead of 3rd or 4th and long. They kept giving the Tigers a steady dose of running up the middle which would get us a few yards but often had us going for it on 4th down. The field was too wet to get around the outside and the Tigers were all over that. I still think that a good reverse could have offset the swarming attack but maybe not due to the wet field.

I will tell you that our punting was crap. Seems we were always punting into the wind for not much yardage. Sealy's special teams weren't perfect but played much better than ours in the conditions.

Downey's patient running keying off his downfield blocks was the big difference. He gets my gameball.

Enjoyed seeing Eric Dickerson toss the coin.

Let me get this straight...a running team is complaining about the weather when they were playing a spread team? HMMM! Sounds like Sealy just beat Giddings ...PERIOD!
